Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-05
Stick Fight on playstickfight.com lets you play Stick Fight and other stickman games in your browser. We respect your privacy and keep data collection minimal. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.
TL;DR (The Short Version)
- No account required to play
- Optional comments via Waline (nickname + email)
- Analytics are optional and aggregate only
- We do not sell or rent your data
- Embedded games may set their own cookies
- Games still work if you block cookies
- California / EU residents have additional opt-out rights — see below.
What We Collect
By default, we do not collect personally identifiable information (PII). You don't need to create an account or provide any personal details to play games on our site.
To keep the site running smoothly, we may collect limited technical data such as:
- Browser type and version
- Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
- Approximate location (country/region level, not precise)
- Pages visited and time spent
- IP address and user agent for security and abuse prevention
- Error logs for debugging
This data is used only to understand site performance, prevent abuse, and improve your gaming experience.
Analytics
We may use Google Analytics and/or Plausible to measure site traffic when configured. These tools:
- Track aggregated trends (for example, which pages are popular)
- Do not identify individual users for advertising
- May set cookies depending on your settings and browser
- Respect browser-level blocking (ad blockers, privacy extensions)
If you block analytics tools, the games will still work normally.
Comments (Waline)
If you choose to post a comment, the Waline comment widget will process:
- Nickname you provide
- Email address (required for anti-spam and avatars)
- Comment content
- Basic metadata like IP address and user agent for moderation
Comments are public and visible to other visitors. We moderate comments to remove spam and inappropriate content.
Waline is hosted separately from this site. Comment data is stored on the Waline server, and we access it only for moderation and support.
Cookies & Local Storage
We use minimal cookies for:
- Analytics - Anonymous usage tracking
- Comments - Remembering your nickname for convenience
Games may store progress or settings in local storage or IndexedDB. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some convenience features may reset.
Third-Party Embeds
Our games are embedded from third-party providers. These providers may have their own data collection practices and may show ads. We usereferrerpolicy="no-referrer" and sandboxed iframes to limit data sharing, but we recommend reviewing third-party policies if you have concerns.
Data Sharing
We do not sell or rent any user data. We may share limited data only:
- With infrastructure providers (hosting, CDN) under confidentiality agreements
- With analytics or comment providers when those features are enabled
- When required by law
Operational logs are kept only as long as needed for security and troubleshooting. For interest-based advertising, we share limited device identifiers with NitroPay and its IAB-authorized partners; California residents may opt out via the link in our footer.
Children's Privacy
Our site is designed for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please contact us for removal.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Block cookies and tracking in your browser
- Request deletion of any data we may hold about you
- Request removal of your comments
To exercise these rights, email [email protected].
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as needed. Material changes will be posted prominently on the site. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
Your California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you the following rights:
- Right to Know — what personal information we collect, use, and share
- Right to Delete — request deletion of your personal information
- Right to Correct — request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Right to Limit Use — restrict use of sensitive personal information
- Right to Opt Out — opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
The categories of personal information we may collect include: IP address and device identifiers, browser type and version, approximate location (country/region), pages visited, and cookie identifiers used for analytics and advertising measurement. This information is used for site operation, fraud prevention, advertising measurement, and aggregated analytics.
We work with NitroPay and its IAB-framework partners for advertising. While we do not "sell" personal information for money, sharing device identifiers for interest-based advertising may constitute "sharing" under CPRA and requires an opt-out mechanism.
To opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Info" link in the site footer, or email us at [email protected].
EU & UK Visitors (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or UK GDPR applies to our processing of your personal data. Our legal bases for processing are:
- Legitimate interests — site operation, security, and fraud prevention
- Consent — advertising cookies and personalised advertising (you may withdraw at any time)
You have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete your personal data
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing based on legitimate interests
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing
To manage or withdraw your cookie consent, use the "Cookie Consent" link in the site footer.
Personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside the EEA, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent). We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, typically no longer than 26 months for analytics data.
